Understanding Islam - Course
With 3 million Muslims in the U.K. and a growing number of refugees from the Middle East we need to be equipped to understand how to build genuine relationships with Muslims and contextualise the message of Jesus. Whilst numbers of our churches run projects to reach Muslim neighbours and asylum seekers there is nothing in place to equip people in the beliefs, practices and culture of a significant population of people in our towns and cities.
10 Saturday sessions between September 2018 and July 2019, accommodation and meal available Friday night if required, sometimes in Luton other times in Birmingham. Please contact us for more details of dates and locations.
Training and mentoring will be provided by overseas church planters and those involved in the UK working with Muslims.
Internships also available alongside this course.
Cost for the course: TBC
